Riverside Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson will deliver the annual State of the City address on Jan. 26 at the Riverside Convention Center.
The event, produced by the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the city, will be held in person this year for the first time since 2020, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The address, titled “Riverside by Design, will be a review of last year’s achievements and an outline of major issues facing the city this year.
Festivities will start at 5:30 p.m. and can be viewed at WatchRiverside.com, on Facebook, and on three cable networks: Spectrum (Channel 3), Frontier (Channel 21), and AT&T (Channel 99). More information can be found here.
Lock Dawson is also scheduled to announce the first recipient of the Innovation Award, given to a person who has helped the city promote art and culture.
