Garcia is Rialto’s interim City Manager

Henry Garcia has been named Rialto’s interim city manager.

The 30-year public administrator has come out of retirement to replace Arron Brown, who took over as acting city manager in January when Marcus Fuller stepped down as the city’s top administrator, according to a published report.

Garcia will earn $170 per hour and be limited to 960 hours per fiscal year.

During his career, Garcia has held top administrative posts in Colton and Azusa. He was Rialto’s city manager for 10 years before leaving in 2011 to become Moreno Valley’s city manager.

Rialto continues to search for a permanent city manager, according to the report.
