Riverside has created two entities designed to help business growth within the city.
The Riverside Business Hub and the Riverside Business Resource Guide are both the result of a partnership between the city, the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center, and the Women’s Business Center, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The business hub is at the chambers of commerce building, 3985 University Ave. It offers business support services free of charge, provided by the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center and the Women’s Business Center.
Advisors include current or former business owners, attorneys, investors, procurement experts, former bankers, marketers, web designers, and certified public accountants.
The Riverside Business Resource Guide provides resources from several entrepreneurial support organizations. It can be found here.
Riverside and its partners encourage residents to shop locally and support the small business owners who contribute to the local economy, according to the statement.
