Riverside is working on developing a major commercial-recreational project in the Northside neighborhood.
The city council voted unanimously Tuesday to begin negotiating with Adrenaline Sports Resorts Collaborative to bring the project to fruition, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The talks are expected to last at least six months. The $200 million development will consist of a recreational adventure park, a hotel and conference center, housing, a grocery store and restaurants.
“This project has the potential to transform the Northside, honoring the wishes of the neighborhood while expanding our recreational opportunities for all residents of Riverside,” Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson said in the statement.
This is crazy by the time you finish this project it will be out dated! This is California you can’t get anything done in a timely fashion without greasing the palms of corruption! Your best bet would be to put in a big ass fishing lake because by the time you’re done figuring out and finishing your going to be so old (I will be dead) and if you build it correctly it can be use by fire fighting planes. Oh you mentioned about talking to neighbors, you didn’t talk to me and I live 100yrd away!
