Laurel Reimer has been named Riverside’s city planner.
Reimer, who began work May 8, is in charge of current and advance planning, planning information, and historic preservation, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“The Community and Economic Development Department is excited to welcome Laurel Reimer to our high-performing team,” Interim Director Miranda Evans said in the statement. “Laurel brings a collaborative approach to development projects, along with proven experience in land use and environmental planning.”
Reimer has worked for 18 years in the public and private sector. Most recently she was principal at Sagecrest Planning+Environmental in San Juan Capistrano. Before that she worked at Core Development Services in Fullerton, where she specialized in telecommunications entitlements, according to the statement.
