UC Riverside will begin a full online Master of Business Administration program this fall.
The program – the first of its kind on a UC campus in Southern California – represents a major addition to UC Riverside’s graduate education business program, according to a statement on the university’s website.
The program will allow students to complete their coursework exclusively from their homes or workplaces, with no obligation to attend in-person classes. The program is meant to attract the professional whose lifestyle makes if difficult get an on-campus MBA.
“This program opens the door to a high-quality graduate business education for talented people whose work, family, military service, or geographic circumstances make attending classes on campus difficult,” said Yunzeng Wang, dean of UC Riverside’s School of Business, in the statement. “It also… extends UC Riverside’s reach and reputation to a broader community of future business leaders.
