Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation is changing its name.
The 77-year-old facility in Pomona will now be called Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, a change that officials hope will better reflect all of the services the hospital provides, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
The hospital, one of the most respected facilities of its kind in Southern California, has upgraded and expanded its operation during the past 17 years.
Casa Collina is scheduled to open a 31-bed medical/surgical expansion in August, the report stated.
