People on the Move

Kimberly Davidson has been named Corona’s Economic Development Manager.

Davidson, who started work Monday, held the same position in Murrieta for more than seven years before moving to Corona, according to a statement on the city’s website.

Before working in Murrieta she owned a small marketing business that provided consulting and graphic design services to businesses in the Murrieta Valley.

Davidson was recently named “Woman of the Year” for her contributions to the community by Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez, R-Lake Elsinore, and she has received several awards from the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce.

“Kimberly has the dynamic skills we are looking for,” City Manager Darrell Talbert said in the statement. “Not only does she have expertise in marketing and in business, but she is also very well-versed in government operations as they relate to economic development. This gives her the ability to be a very effective liaison to our business community.”
