Planning Commissioner Sought

Chino Hills is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its planning commission.

The vacancy was created when Karen Bristow, who was appointed to the city’s first planning commission in 1992, announced she is stepping down because she’s leaving the area, according to a statement on the city’s website.

Mayor Art Bennett will review the applicants and recommend someone to replace Bristow. He is expected to announce his nominee – which must be confirmed by the city council – at the June 28th council meeting.

Applications must be submitted to the city clerk’s office at city hall by 4 p.m. on June 17th.
