Three Democratic gubernatorial candidates – former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, State Treasurer John Chiang and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newson – will headline the Inland Empire Economic Partnership’s 2017 Speaker Series.
Villaraigosa is scheduled to begin the three-day event April 28 at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Ontario Airport, followed by Chiang on June 9 and Newsom on June 30, according to statement released by the partnership.
The IEEP Speaker Series is a forum for distinguished leaders to share their insights on local issues with Inland Empire community leaders and residents. Topics to be discussed include job creation, economic development, education and upward mobility for the disadvantaged.
Sessions will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with each speech to last 45 minutes. Tickets are $50 to $120 for all three sessions.
