Joseph Busby has been named chief financial officer of the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Palm Springs.
Busby, who has spent 22 years working for Native American tribes and private entities, will be in charge of the casino’s financial strategy, specifically its budgeting and long-term planning, according to multiple reports.
The resort and casino are owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
“Morongo is thrilled to welcome Joseph, whose deep industry expertise, forward-thinking approach, and proven leadership will further strengthen the executive team guiding our gaming operations,” said Charles Martin, Morongo tribal chairman, a statement.
