Raymond Gregory will chair the Riverside County Transportation Commission in 2026.
Gregory is the mayor of Cathedral City, and has been a commission member since 2019, according to a statement on the commission’s website.
“This will be an exciting year, as we kick off several projects to improve transportation in Riverside County, including the next phase of the Coachella Valley Rail Project, construction of the Mid County Parkway Ramona Expressway, and flipping the switch on the I-15 Smart Freeway Pilot Project in Temecula.”
Jeremy Smith, Canyon Lake mayor, was named vice-chair, and Chuck Washington, Riverside County supervisor, was named was named second vice-chair, according to the statement.
