Cardenas Markets now offers same-day delivery

Cardenas, DoorDash form alliance

Cardenas Markets has partnered with DoorDash to make grocery deliveries from all 59 of the supermarket chain’s locations.

The Ontario-based Hispanic grocery store chain is now available on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program, which offers free deliveries and reduced service fees from thousands of restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores nationwide.

“We understand our customers’ shopping preferences continue to evolve, and Cardenas Markets is committed to providing convenient methods for our customers to shop with us,” said Adam Salgado, the company’s chief marketing officer, in a statement. “Our partnership with Door Dash allows us to further this commitment.”

Cardenas is one of the largest Hispanic grocery store chains in the United States, with stores in California, Nevada, and Arizona. It has 52 Cardenas and seven Cardenas Ranch Market stores, according to the statement.

DoorDash was founded in 2013. It connects consumers with local and national businesses in more than 7,000 cities in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan, according to the statement.
