Southwest Airlines will begin operating flights between Palm Springs International Airport and Austin, Texas in April 2026.
The seasonal nonstop flights will be offered Saturday and Sunday from March 5 through April 6, according to a statement on Palm Springs’ website.
Arrival and departure times were not announced. The flights will land at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Southwest is the second airline to operate flights between Palm Springs International and Austin-Bergstrom. Delta Airlines announced similar service earlier this year.
“Adding Southwest on the Austin route gives travelers more choices than ever,” said Harry Barrett, Jr., executive director of aviation at Palm Springs International, in the statement. “When airlines compete, travelers benefit with more convenient schedules and competitive fares.”
Tickets are available at Southwest.com. The Southwest Palm Springs-Austin service will be part of Southwest’s Boeing 737 fleet, according to the statement.
