Cal State San Bernardino has received an $85,000 grant from Southern California Edison.
The Edison International STEM Scholarships will help 43 students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics remain in those fields and complete their degrees, according to a statement on the university’s website.
The grant will also help support the university’s Centers for Enhancement of Mathematics Education, which works with local school districts to improve mathematics instruction and encourages students to become mathematics teachers.
Some of the funding will also go to the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, according to the statement.
