Chaffey College will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its newest classroom building on its Chino campus.
The 35,000-square-foot Chino Instructional Building includes a nursing lab, classrooms, offices, learning spaces geared to technology and indoor and outdoor event spaces, according to a statement released by the school.
The building at 5897 College Park Ave. took three years to construct and was finished in May. Nursing students began using part of the building shortly after it was completed.
Measure P, a bond measure approved by voters in 2018, and state funds, will pay for the Chino building. Chaffey College plans to use Measure P funds to help build an Ontario campus, and to demolish and replace some 1950’s-era structures on its Rancho Cucamonga campus, according to a statement on the school’s website.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at noon on Sept. 23. For more information call (909) 652-6121.
