Cal State San Bernardino honored more than 3,100 graduates during two days of ceremonies at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Students in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences received their degrees May 15, followed the next day by the College of Arts and Letters, the James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education, the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration and the College of Natural Sciences, according to a statement on the university’s website.
“This is your moment,” outgoing President Tomas D. Morales told the graduates. “Graduation is both about looking back and looking forward. It is about beginnings. It is about hope, it is about possibilities, and it is about adventure.”
William M. Stevenson, a Cal State San Bernardino alumnus and a longtime banking executive, received an honorary Doctor Humane Letters during the Jack H. Brown College’s ceremony, according to statement.
