Christiana Daisy has been named interim general manager of the Inland Empire Utilities Agency.
Daisy, who has more than 30 years’ experience in water resource management, will serve for up to 24 weeks while a search for a permanent general manager is conducted, according to a statement released by the agency.
Most recently, Daisy spent five years as the agency’s deputy general manager before retiring last year. She has also worked for the West Basin Municipal Water District and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California
“Christiana brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of our agency’s operations,” said Marco Tule, agency board president, in the statement, “Her leadership and expertise will be invaluable to ensuring continuity and stability throughout the recruitment period.”
