Tony Gawne has been named Morongo Casino Resort & Spa’s chief information officer.
Gawne is in charge of the casino’s technology platforms and digital capabilities, making certain they support and enhance guest experiences, according to a statement released by the casino.
Tony brings a combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and hands-on leadership that aligns perfectly with Morongo’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence,” said Mike Bean, the casino’s chief executive officer in the statement “His experience modernizing complex technology environments and strengthening cybersecurity will play a critical role in supporting our teams.”
Gawne has more than 26 years as a senior technology executive, according to the statement.
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is located in Cabazon next to Interstate 10. It is owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
