Benigno “Ben” Sandoval has been named Hemet’s economic development director.
Sandoval, who has been the city’s economic development manager for the past 19 months, has strengthened local businesses and attracted new ones during that time, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“Ben’s energy and relentless efforts to drive business growth have been a game-changer for Hemet,” said Mark Prestwich, city manager, in the statement. “His innovative approach and dedication to fostering economic vitality make him the ideal leader to guide our city’s economic development into the future.”
Sandoval has worked for more than 20 years in business, economic development, marketing, economics, and public relations, according to the statement.
