Ice cream chain locates in Eastvale

Brusters Real Ice Cream has opened a store in Eastvale.

The location at 7208 Hamner Ave. opened March 27, according to the store’s Facebook page.

It is part of Hamner Place, a 143,7000-square-foot neighborhood shopping center at Hamner Avenue and Schleisman Road that was developed by Lewis Retail Centers in Upland.

Other tenants include Starbucks, Chipotle, China Bros, La Carniceria Meat Market and 7-Eleven/Chevron.

Brusters is based in Bridgewater, Pa. near Pittsburgh. Founded in 1989, it operates about 220 stores in the United States and Guyana, all but one of which is franchised, according to the company’s website.
