Two online programs at Cal State San Bernardino have been named among the best in the United States by a prominent online news magazine.

The school’s graduate criminal justice program ranked 44th and its MBA program ranked 137th on U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Online Programs.

The criminal justice program ranked fourth in California after UC Irvine (1), University of San Diego (22) and Cal State Long Beach (30).

Cal State San Bernardino’s online MBA program was ranked fifth in California and was the highest ranked California State University program on the list. The University of Southern California (No. 3 nationally), led the California universities.

“Being highly ranked for another year is testament to the dedication of our faculty, staff and students,” said Tomás Gomez-Arias, dean of the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, in a statement. “We are proud of this recognition and will continue our pursuit of academic excellence and student success.”

U.S. News & World Report has been ranking online education programs for 11 years, according to the statement.
