Nearly 123,000 passengers are expected to pass through Ontario International Airport during the upcoming July 4 weekend, a slight year-over-year increase.
Traffic is expected to be at its highest July 2 (21,996) and July 5 (21,882), according to a statement on the airport’s website.
The lowest travel day will be July 4, when an estimated 16,193 travelers are expected to enter or leave Ontario International. The six-day holiday schedule will run from June 30 to July 5.
Airlines are offering 161,995 seats on flights to and from Ontario International, a two percent year-over-year increase.
Nationwide, nearly six million people will fly during the holiday period, with July 2 expected to be the busiest day, according to the U.S., Transportation Security Administration.
