For the second time in two months, a promotional video produced by Ontario International Airport has won a major award.
The one-minute production Why Ever You Travel won silver Telly Awards in two categories, transportation, and travel-tourism, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Started in 1979, The Telly Awards are among the most prestigious honors for video and television marketing. This year, more than 13,000 entries were submitted from organizations in five continents and 50 countries.
Why Ever You Travel previously was honored with four NYX Awards, which are also among the world’s top marketing and communications awards.
More than 30 million air travelers have used Ontario International Airport since it was returned to local ownership in November 2016, according to the statement.
