PREP negotiates bowling alley sale

Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga has negotiated the sale of a former bowling alley in the San Gabriel Valley.

Trumark Homes in San Ramon sold the 1950s-era Covina Bowl to Los Angeles-based Starlight Union for $2 million, according Progressive.

Starlight Union designs and remodels residential and commercial properties. It plans to use the 10,110-square-foot structure at 1060 W, San Bernardino Road as a showroom.

Built in 1956, Covina Bowl is  listed in the California Register of Historic Resources. After it closed in 2017, the property became part of a Trumark townhome development.

Starlight Union has agreed to keep many of the distinct characteristics, signature features, including its pyramid entrance, the terrazzo concourse, the 60-foot Covina Bowl sign, and the original coffee counter.

Progressive represented Trumark in the negotiations.
