Riverside County has launched its annual budget priorities survey.
Residents are asked their opinions regarding how their tax dollars should be spent across county departments and services during the upcoming fiscal year, according to a statement on the county’s website.
The survey, which is scheduled to run until Feb, 26, will be presented to the board of supervisors before a budget is adopted. It is available online in both English and Spanish.
“I am glad to see us continue our outreach to community members to participate during the budget process,” said V. Manuel Perez, board chair, in the statement. “We want to hear what is most important to you in your county government.”
The county will also host five budget workshops throughout the county in April. Details on those sessions are expected to be announced soon.
