New CFO for San Manuel tribe

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has a new chief financial officer.

Laurens Vosloo, who has held that position at the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino since 2014, is now in charge of all of the tribe’s financial enterprises, according to a statement.

Before he joined San Manuel Casino, Vosloo was executive director of finance for the Las Vegas Sands Corp. He has a certified public accountant’s license in Nevada and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and management at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

“It is a tremendous advantage when we are able to fill the enterprise-wide CFO position with a professional who has a demonstrated record of success with the Tribe’s government gaming enterprise,” said Jerry Paresa, chief executive officer of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, in the statement.

“Over the past four years, Laurens has contributed significantly to the growth and development projects at the casino, and [he] will help guide the tribe and its businesses to even greater heights.”
