Two more restaurants have opened at Ontario International Airport, the latest move in a $6 million upgrade of the airport’s dining facilities.
Cross Grain Brewhouse, a “brewpub” and restaurant, and Harvest & Grounds, a Euro-American bakery and cafe, both opened recently in Terminal Two, according to the Ontario International Airport Authority.
Improvements to the airport’s food and beverage facilities began in November 2016 when the airport, formerly owned by the city of Los Angeles, was handed over to local control.
Delaware North, a global food service and hospitality company in Buffalo, N.Y, is in charge of the upgrades. The authority’s agreement with Delaware North mandates that prices be no more than 10 percent above the non-airport price, an eight percent reduction from its previous standard.
That agreement is expected to generate $12.9 million in revenue during the next 10 years, according to the statement.
