Auto Club Speedway in Fontana has partnered with TEC Equipment, the largest Mack and Volvo Dealership in North America.
The agreement, announced recently, calls for TEC Equipment to host a client event at the speedway this fall and to hold a gathering for the speedway’s youth program, Lefty’s Kids Club, according to a statement.
TEC Equipment recently opened a store across from the speedway.
That dealership covers 174,000 square feet, has a 2.2-acre parts warehouse and can service up to 102 trucks. It also has a “trucker lounge” that includes a laundry and entertainment, according to the statement.
TEC Equipment will also participate in pre-race parade laps and other activities at the NASCAR Auto Club 400, scheduled to be held March 15-17 at the speedway.
The company is based in Portland. It has 26 locations, all on the west coast.
Auto Club Speedway is at 9300 Cherry Ave. immediately north of Interstate 10. The two-mile, D-shaped oval hosts more than 320 events every year, according to the statement.
