Local women’s business group to hold luncheon

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is scheduled to hold its next major get-together Friday.

The Power Lunch Spotlight Mixer will take place at 1003 E. Cooley Drive, Unit 109, in Colton, according to a statement.

Networking will begin at 11:30 a.m., with lunch to be served at noon. The spotlight presentation is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Joan Burke Stanford, chief executive officer and chief content developer of Jazzy Pen Communications, a marketing consulting firm in Rancho Cucamonga, is scheduled to speak.

The women’s business center is part of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State Bernardino. It provides business counseling, training and mentoring for women business owners, according to the statement.
