Threshold Aviation Group, the premiere maintenance and fixed-based operator at Chino Airport, held their 9th annual Hope, Love & Charity event on Saturday. In coordination with the John P. Previti Memorial Foundation, Chino Police Department and Chino Valley Fire Department, the event served over 3,000 meals to needy members of the Chino community.
“The Hope, Love & Charity event is something I look forward to planning every year,” said Lisa DiLullo, president of Threshold Aviation Group and founder of the charity event. “This annual event allows us to give back to the community in some small way. We’re able to share our blessings with our neighbors during the holiday season by providing families with food and children with toys.”
In addition to providing hot meals, more than 2,000 books and toys were given to children and 100 bikes were raffled off.
Sowing Seeds For Life provided families with boxes of canned food to take with them once the event was over.
“In the wake of recent events in the county, it’s important for the community to come together and support one another,” said Mark DiLullo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Threshold Aviation Group. “If, in some small way, the Threshold team can restore moral in San Bernardino County, we will. We are optimistic that the Hope, Love & Charity event will be a beacon of hope for the region.”
