Tom Del Beccaro, former chairman of the California Republican Party and a candidate for the U.S. Senate this November, is scheduled to speak at the upcoming monthly luncheon of the Victoria Club in Riverside.
Del Beccaro is the author of the book “The New Conservative Paradigm,” which breaks down the role tax policy has played in U.S. presidential and congressional politics starting in the 1950s and running through 2010.
An attorney, Del Beccaro was once chair of the local Republican Party chapter in Contra Costa County, a region he considers his political base, according to a statement.
Also scheduled to speak is Randy Fox, a Corona City Council member and a candidate for the 41st Congressional District seat held by Democrat Mark Takano.
Fox has also been Corona’s treasurer, an elected position. He is a pastor and businessman and has been a representative to the Riverside County Habitat Conservation Agency, according to the statement.
The luncheon is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Cost is $25 per person and reservations must be made by Tuesday.
