Inland Empire Restaurant Week, the annual showcase of local restaurants sponsored by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, is on tap later this month.
This year’s “week” is scheduled to be held Aug. 12 through Aug. 25, with more than 60 restaurants in Riverside and San Bernardino counties expected to participate, according to a bureau statement released Tuesday.
Participating restaurants provide special offers, including multi-course meals at a fixed price, three-course lunch and/or dinner menus, free appetizers and desserts and discount prices. The goal is to get Inland Empire residents to spend their money at Inland Empire restaurants while raising the profile of those establishments.
Restaurants that sign up will get marketing and promotional help from the bureau.
