Moreno Valley will hold its annual State of the City event Aug. 25 at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center.
The event, which the city is hosting in partnership with the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce, will highlight the city’s recent accomplishments and planned initiatives, according to a statement.
Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez will deliver an address, and a video will be presented that will include all council members. The video will discuss economic development, public safety, infrastructure, fiscal responsibility and community care initiatives, according to the statement.
The event, which will include a luncheon, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The recreation center is at 14075 Frederick St.
