Cynthia Glover Woods has been reappointed to the California Board of Education.
An Eastvale resident, Glover Woods has served on the 11-member panel since 2020, according to the governor’s website.
Woods taught at the Riverside County Office of Education School of Education from 2024 to 2025.
She was also an adjunct professor at the University of Redlands from 2021 to 2023, and has held multiple roles at the Riverside County Office of Education from 2013 to 2021. Her appointment was announced Feb. 13.
A board appointee must be confirmed by the state Senate. Compensation is a $100 per diem, according to the governor’s office.
