Leaseback deal in Ontario completed

A retail building next to Vineyard Ontario Plaza has been sold.

The 3,060-square-foot structure at 1959 E. 4th St. was sold for $1.1 million, according to Progressive Real Estate in Rancho Cucamonga.

The seller was LifeStream Blood Bank, a nonprofit that serves hospitals and medical centers in Southern California. The seller, represented by Progressive Real Estate, was Duckett-Wilson Development.

Lifestream will remain in the building and lease it from Duckett-Wilson. The Los Angeles-based company owns and manages 63 shopping centers and six restaurants throughout California, Nevada and Colorado, the company’s website states..

Vineyard Ontario Plaza is fully leased.  An estimated 40,000 vehicles pass by the site on a typical day.

Its tenants include Del Taco and Popeyes fast-food restaurants, and it’s across the street from an industrial park that includes Best Buy and QVC distribution centers.

Progressive Real Estate specializes in small to medium-sized retail transactions in the Inland Empire.
