Moreno Valley Residents Wants Mega-Logistics Project on Ballot

Moreno Valley performed well in 2017

Moreno Valley had a solid 2017, with new business licenses increasing 10.2 percent.

The city, which claims to have created an estimated 14,000 jobs during the last four years, welcomed a number of new businesses last year, including Cafe Rio Restaurant, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Jerome’s Furniture, Karma  Automotive and Wiseway Trucking, according to a statement on city’s website.

Private developers invested more than $400 million in new businesses and construction projects in Moreno Valley in 2017.

“As mayor and as a former business owner, I am proud of the successes experienced by Moreno Valley businesses and developers,”  Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez said in the statement. “I continue to prioritize opportunities for bringing more jobs and private investment to our community.”
