It’s time for Ontario’s annual tribute to vintage American automobiles.
The 12th annual Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion is scheduled to be held Sept. 19-20th over 22 square blocks in downtown.
More than 1,000 vintage vehicles – anything made no later than 1988 – will cruise Euclid Avenue between Holt Boulevard on the south to I Street on the north. The event, for which there is no admission charge, will also feature live entertainment, food trucks, contests and specialty vendors.
The Ontario Town Square, 224 N. Euclid Ave. will host the entertainment.
“Every September, Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion transforms Ontario into a showcase of America’s automotive past and present,” said Michael Krouse, president of Greater Ontario California (GOCAL), the reunion’s sponsor, in a statement. “It’s more than a car show, it’s a celebration of community, culture and the timeless thrill of the open road.”
More than 150,000 people are expected to attend this year’s celebration. For more information visit route66cruisinreunion.com.
