The San Bernardino County Community Development and Housing Department has received a $3 million grant from the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation that will help complete the second phase of Pacific Village Campus Project in San Bernardino.
The funding will help improve the therapeutic and community spaces at the campus, which is under construction according to a statement on the county’s website.
Pacific Village Campus provides a wide range of care for homeless individuals, including permanent supportive housing, recuperative care beds and residential substance use treatment. When complete, it will serve approximately 350 individuals a year and serve as a regional model for helping homeless people, according to the statement.

I think that San Manuel needs to be commended for all they do for the City of San Bernardino. Their not just into the casino they actually care about their community. I myself have been chronically homeless my entire adult life. I finally have a roof over my head for the last 4 3/4 years in a Project Base Section 8 apartment complex. Yes, I’m very grateful for having a proof over my head, though I believe if they want their monies spent well n things to actually succeed they need to get some advice from someone that’s been homeless, has mental health challenges, has been a Survivor of a lot of DV(abuse) and is an addict. I have so much history regarding all the mentioned . I feel that to get to the Core reason why some are homeless is the key and offer help than an apartment will make it successful. Where I currently reside it’s worse than being homeless. Please get in touch with me.
so NOW the red man is the humanitarian of the “white eyes”… I’m ashamed to say that they’re treating US better than we treated THEM…
… they are the true HUMAN BEINGS. GOD bless them!
