Retail site sold for $4.8 million

A Starbucks-anchored property in Riverside has been sold for $4.8 million.

The one-acre parcel at 22420 Van Buren Blvd. is part of Veteran’s Plaza, a community shopping center, according to a statement.

In addition to Starbucks, Express Gadget Repair, Jersey Mike’s and Desperate Measures, which sells accessories for hunters and marksmen, are located in the pad building. In-N-Out, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Hampton Inn, and a Circle K/76 gas station are nearby.

The buyer and seller’s identity was not released.

Veteran’s Plaza is part Meridian Business Park, a 1,290-acre commerce and distribution center. When completed, the park will have 16 million square feet of building space and will have created about 18,000 jobs, according to the statement.
