A Rancho Cucamonga-based homebuilder has donated $400,000 to National CORE, one of the country’s largest nonprofit affordable housing developers.
The Previti Group, formerly known as Frontier Enterprises, made the donation to underscore the company’s commitment to “giving back” to the communities it serves, in particular the Inland Empire, according to a statement.
“We are proud to support National CORE’s exceptional work and look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on the lives of many,” said James Previti, president and chief executive officer of The Previti Group, in the statement released June 28.
“We are committed to enhancing the communities we’re a part of, and this donation is a reflection of our belief in the power of community.”
National Core will now be better able to serve Riverside and San Bernardino counties, a region that needs more affordable housing.
“This generous donation will enhance our ability to serve our communities, particularly our youth and senior residents,” said Michael Ruane, president at National CORE, in the statement. “We are not just providing housing but creating environments where people can thrive.”
The Previti Group expects to donate another $600,000 to various National Core initiatives within the next year, according to the statement.
