Nearly 150 commercial real estate professionals teed it up Thursday at NAIOP Inland Empire’s annual golf tournament.
The event, held at the challenging Industry Hills course in the City of Industry, raised $10,000 for Special Operations Warrior Foundation, a national organization founded 35 years ago.
The non-profit entity provides scholarships and education counseling to the children of deceased special operations personnel. Since 2012, NAIOP Inland Empire has raised $40,000 for the foundation, according to a NAIOP statement.
“We’re proud to support an organization that is honoring America’s heroes,” said John Condas, president of NAIOP Inland Empire, in the statement. “These kids lost their loved ones, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We hope that our contribution can make a difference for these young men and women.”
NAIOP Inland Empire is the regional chapter of the National Commercial Real Estate Development Association. It’s the leading professional organization for local developers, property owners and commercial real estate brokers in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, according to the statement.
