The Inland Empire had the highest number of large industrial leases nationwide during the first half of 2025, according to CBRE.
Of the 100 industrial leases of one million square feet or more, 14 were in Riverside or San Bernardino counties, the most of any major U.S. market, the international commercial real estate firm reported.
Half of those leases were renewals. The Inland region also led in that category in 2024.
The PA I-78/I-81 Corridor followed with nine leases while Dallas-Fort Worth was third with seven leases of one million square feet or more. All three markets are major transportation hubs with much logistics infrastructure.
Total volume fell to 71.8 million square feet, down from 81.4 million square feet, year-over-year. The average lease size was 718,000 square feet, down from 814,000 square feet in the first six months of 2024, according to CBRE.
